Blending Cultures in Rural Wisconsin | Nitish & Elle's Indian Fusion Wedding

It is no easy task to pull off a backyard wedding under typical circumstances, but when Elle and Nitish decided to tie the knot, they faced the unique challenge of bringing important elements of Indian wedding tradition to her family's rural Columbus acreage.

Elle's father built an outbuilding just for the reception and tamed the mosquitoes hiding in the lush green forest surrounding them. Elle and Nitish traveled back to India for Elle's stunning hand made lehenga as well as Nitish's sherwani and the attire for the entire wedding party. Their wedding programs included details about both American and Indian wedding traditions, and they even found a white horse for the baraat, or pre-wedding parade of the groom's family and friends.

Saturday dawned clear and cool for July, and despite the hiccups that occur with such a jam-packed wedding day, Elle and Nitish breezed through everything with class, joy, and humor. And there wasn't a dry eye in attendance as they read their beautiful vows to each other. Thanks so much to both families for welcoming Olga and I on this important day. Its a wedding we won't forget!

Natalie and Luke's Backyard Vero Beach Wedding

A wedding isn't an easy thing to pull off, and when Natalie and Luke decided to get married back home, at her father's Vero Beach home, they didn't know it would thunder and storm all afternoon, or that Luke would be too ill to rise out of bed until minutes before the ceremony. But nothing could stop Luke from his passion for Natalie, and even the rain cooperated just enough to make the day a true pleasure.

There's something so authentic about a couple getting married in a family home. The mementos of a lifetime of family pleasures, the comfort and familiarity it brings for everyone involved. We loved their wedding and the warmth they brought to the day. Congratulations!

Twilight NYE Wedding with Vollyball, a Hoverboard, and Fun

It's not too often that a couple breaks out a volleyball during their first dance, but this destination wedding featured two passionate volleyball players and coaches, so it was more than fitting that Margot and Kevin warmed up for their reception with a little pepper.

This energetic couple from Louisiana got married among close family and friends at a gorgeous waterside Ft. Lauderdale home, with the ceremony kicking in just as dusk set in. The stunning decor featuring rustic tables, trees wrapped in lights, and the Ft. Lauderdale skyline in the distance, all came together to make a New Year's Eve wedding party for the ages. We wish them all the best!

Intimate Ft. Lauderdale Backyard Wedding

Sometimes we forget that the most important part of the wedding is simply spending it with the most important people in your life. Bryan and Val did just that yesterday in their beachfront Ft. Lauderdale wedding with only their closest friends and family, including their officiant!

And it couldn't have been more beautiful. We wish them all the happiness in the world!

Stephanie + Michael: Beautiful Backyard Wedding in Miami

Stephanie and Michael took as inspiration for their South Florida wedding the beautiful love story at the heart of "Up," and this stunning couple brought the joy and passion of their love in every detail.

But it wasn't the grape soda pin on Michael's lapel or the hand print mailbox or the Paradise Falls signage in the backyard that made this wedding special. It was how this day was a celebration of their love of each other and their families. A truly extraordinary display of love on a perfect Miami wedding day.
